I goofed off yesterday. Surfed the forum at CARM where I occasionally debate. Uploaded pdf's of a series of debates and began adding the links (not yet changed on the site) to the PDF Downloads page. Instead of scanning my site statistics, I actually reviewed the reports. Turns out, I'm well over 15K visitors, from 67 countries - which I think is pretty cool. ;-)
I started my day by reviewing my first 2 articles in the omniscience series this morning. Wed-Sat of this week is awful for me, jam-packed with things to do, but until then, I have several days to just breathe.
Most of that time, I'll be working on the Fun Day. I can't believe it's a week away. Truly, I cannot. Where does the time go? I still have an hr of program time to fill! I'm reasonably sure a half hour of that time, I'll get. I may have to lead the program (fingerprint ID) myself since I don't have the time confirmed from the powers-that-be, but it's fairly solid. The remaining half hour, I could be in trouble, but if push comes to shove, I can always give the kids that half hour to play the games we'll set up in the gym. Get the wiggles out.
But...And this is a very big BUT...I think I'm ready to dive back into work. Finish Part 3. Get on with it already. After so much time away from writing and research, I'm definitely in a position to tackle the subject matter fresh. My schedule doesn't clear for real until after the Fun Day, but that's where I'll be headed.
It seems like I've been away from working on the site forever.
